I’m currently in a favorite small town of mine west of Buenos Aires, San Antonio de Areco. I first visited Areco a few years ago and met Diego, pictured. Diego has gone out of his way to not only introduce me to many of his friends but also including me in many meals. He’s a sincere, funny, and kind man. He included me in a dinner last night that I’ll never forget... About eight of us, all but myself from Areco, had dinner in the house of a woman who has been making them dinner every Thursday for the last ten years. Think asado and malbec and conversation until after midnight...

Silver Creek. Winter.
Baja beaches offer a lot more than shots at roosters. I didn’t realize, at this point, that snook were around in any numbers along the Sea Of Cortez. Zac Mayhew and a nice snook found along Baja, Mexico.
